Frequently asked questions

What makes your prints 'Museum Quality'?

It means your print is built to last a lifetime. Unlike standard posters which can fade or yellow over time, we use heavyweight, acid-free archival paper and pigment-based inks. This is the same standard used by galleries and museums worldwide to preserve art for generations, ensuring your piece looks as vibrant in 50 years as it does today.

Do your prints come framed and ready to hang?

Yes! We highly recommend ordering your print framed for the best finish. Our frames are made from high-quality, sustainably sourced wood and arrive ready to hang on your wall immediately. This saves you the hassle of finding a local framer and ensures your artwork is professionally sealed and protected from the moment it arrives.

Are the original paintings available for purchase?
Where are your prints produced and shipped from?

Our primary focus is on making Ghanaian art accessible globally through high-quality reproductions. However, many of the original masterpieces are still available. If you are interested in purchasing an original painting, please contact us directly, and we will be happy to facilitate the sale with the artist.

We print globally! While our art comes from Ghana, your specific print is produced at a fine art studio closest to your location. We have a network of printing partners in the UK, USA, Europe, and beyond. This allows us to deliver your art faster, free of customs delays, and with a significantly lower carbon footprint than shipping directly from West Africa.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Because we print locally to you, delivery is fast. Most orders are printed, framed, and delivered within 5-7 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your art leaves the studio so you can follow its journey to your door.

How does my purchase directly support the artist?

At HowFar Gallery, we believe in fair, transparent pay. Unlike many platforms that split "profits" (which can shrink when costs rise or sales happen), we pay our artists a guaranteed fixed royalty for every single print sold. This means our artists have a stable, predictable income they can rely on, regardless of our production costs or marketing discounts. Your purchase directly helps sustain the livelihood of Ghana’s most talented creators.
