Born in Ghana and currently based in Osu, Accra, David Nyemah is a painter whose work is deeply rooted in his environment. His formal training began at Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School, where he specialized in Visual Arts and began cultivating the technical foundation for his multi-disciplinary practice.

Today, Nyemah’s process is defined by its transparency. He can usually be found at work in his studio in the heart of Osu, situated directly on 28th February Road. With the doors open to the street, he works on his craft as the world moves around him, allowing the city’s energy to permeate his creative process.

Nyemah’s portfolio encompasses a range of mediums, from intimate drawings and paintings to large-scale murals. His work has been featured in several local exhibitions, most notably the Chale Wote Street Art Festival
